THE BOOK OF QUESTIONS
Q: Are your specimens ethically sourced?
A: All my specimens are sustainably and respectfully sourced. I never harm or kill any living creatures for the purpose of art. Many of my specimens come from natural/found deaths, captive bread specimens or responsible suppliers to ensure they sourced in a sustainable way. I will say not say they are ethically sourced as I feel this can be misleading as my idea of ethical may vary greatly to yours.

Q: Where do you source your specimens?
A: I source my insects, bones and other animal parts from a variety of sustainable sources including (but not limited to):
Natural/Found deaths
Captive breeding
Vintage taxidermy/entomology
Pest control
Meat trade bi products
If you ever want to know about the source of a specific piece, feel free to reach out and ask! I will always provide this information and try my best to include it in the listing descriptions - however if I have forgotten to include it, I will be more than happy to let you know.

Q: How long does shipping take?
A: Orders are typically shipped within 3-5 days (Please note: Live specimens are only shipped Mon-Wed so orders placed after 10am on a Wednesday will not be sent until the following Monday). All orders are send 48 hour tracked as standard, with live specimens being sent 24 hour tracked. A tracking number will always be provided. If there is going to be any sort of delay with your shipping I will keep you informed - sometimes during extremely hot weather it may not be safe to ship live insects.

Q: Do you sell live insects?
A: Yes - When available, I will offer eggs/ova, larvae or pupae. I do not always have these available but when I do they will be listed. Please make sure you read the listing for these to ensure you have the host plants available and are able to provide the care required.
